Hello Aspirant,

One can get admission through KCET inly when he has studied atleast 7 years in Karnataka or his parents must be from Karnataka and since you are from a different state you should not apply for it.

No, you cannot appear in any of these exams because as per CBSE norms and guidelines the candidate who registers for the Improvement exam in the succeeding year, he/she cannot pursue higher studies till the improvement exam is given. He/She has to take a drop.
