The dates have not yet been released for round 2. The choice entry will be released within 2 weeks from the finishing of round 1 as per the year 2017. The date will vary if there are more number of students or the college admission process is taking

Yes, choice entry is possible for you. You can select your choices for engineering colleges in the 2nd round. You will be given a choice during your 2nd round. If you have selected colleges where seats are filled before only you should consider selecting low tier college options

The difference in round one to round two can be huge or marginal it all depends on which college you have been trying to get a seat in. See top colleges like NITs generally speaking won't have a gap more than 500 similar with top colleges under KCET

KCET 2019 round 2  will be held at the last week of july. The date can't be surely predicted. Keep a look at the official website aswell. The counseling is really unpredictable so participate in extended round 2 aswell.
