One is the counselling seat quota and another is management seat quota. Management seats is also known as self-financed seats. Comparitevley the KMAT exam would need a have a less fee structure but you can also opt for CAT if you score well and crack interview you will be getting one of the top management institution.

There is no connection between the exam you appear and the fee structure of the college . There are colleges with low fees under both the exams.

KMAT selection procedure 2018 will commence after each institute affiliated to KPPGCA who accepts KMAT score announces the list of shortlisted candidates. These shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection procedure. The selection procedure of KMAT 2018 will filter candidates for the most appropriate management programme and institute.
