The eligibility criteria for Karnataka PGCET is that a candidate should have passed qualifying or equivalent examination with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken all subjects together (45% for candidates belonging to the reserved category).

As far as i know PGCET is restricted for students who have either studied in karnataka or their parents have lived in karnataka for atleast 7 years. But for non-karnataka students there is a exam called KMAT for admission in MBA and MCA for some prestigious karnataka colleges.
