Hello aspirant
Entrance test for MCA ( Master of Computer Application) from Bangalore include KMAT , Karnataka pgcet and Jain entrance test.
For admission to MCA, the candidate must have Graduation degree in BCA/bcom/BA with mathematics with minimum 50%.
Dear,
Firstly, PGCET is an entrance exam that is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to select candidates for MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, M.Arch as well as lateral entry MCA courses offered by various government/university/private aided and private unaided institutions of Karnataka. Also, GATE qualified candidates will be exempt from appearing for Karnataka PGCET. You can directly apply for M.Tech admissions offered by the participating institutes on the basis of your GATE score. Students who have a valid gate score can just submit their score card and a separate merit list will be prepared for them for MTech in Karnataka, they don't even have to and more importantly can't take the exam of PGCET as per KEA guidelines. If your gate score is low, then just click a Non Gate scorer option in PGCET application form and write PGCET.
Hope this helps!
