Master of Technology is a 2 year Post graduate Degree in the field of Engineering. Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology are the two streams which deals with IT sector field. As the Subjects are almost similar , you can choose IT in Mtech, eventhough you have done BE in CSE stream.

So I am sorry to say but you won't be able to take admission in the college now. Either try a different college.

As you are willing to do m.tech you can choose ECE background. Again for further good.relation of subject or else you can choose CSE if you are good at coding

And you are willing to join in the VLSI (very large scale integration) of combining a MOS transistor together .

So any college won't assure to give you a 100% placements . You should have enough skills to get that
