I am going to complete my undergraduate by next 2 months..I am confused to do Msc physics or prepare for competitive exams or to do both at a time ... please suggest me

pdwords Student Expert 1st May, 2020
Hello,

It largely depends on your areas of interest, going for higher studies increases prospects more sobif you're interested in research or teaching at university level, after completing Master's Degree in Physics, you can qualify for NET/SET. And coming to competitive exams, in most cases it's eligibility is graduation, when you talk about these exams, first of all you've to choose you want to appear for which one, is it UPSC Civil Service, SSC CGL or banking because each has different exam pattern and with increasing competition it will take determination and single-minded focus to ace it.

ANUJA 9th May, 2020

Dear Aspirant

For admission in government medical college in Karnataka the seats are divided into two quotas

All India Quota 15%

State Quota 85 %

Further the state Quota is divided in categories of General, OBC, SC and ST

if my score is 450 in NEET 2020 can i get BMCRI or MMCRI or KIMS(hubli) govt med. colleges in karnataka through karnataka state quota and rural SC category.. plz tell me

Sharon Rose Student Expert 8th May, 2020

Hello,

If you score the minimum cut off marks specified by the college you may have decent chances of getting seat in that particular college.Take look at the previous year cut off marks and rank respectively for SC category in the colleges which you have asked

  • KIIMS, Hubli: 435, 95930
  • MCMRI: 436, 95001
  • BMCRI: 435, 96388

Considering this you may have decent chances of getting seat with 450 marks but cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available etc, it may increase or decrease slightly.

My karnataka state board exam marks of PCB&Eng affect my admission in govt medical college in karnataka? in 2020 NEET

Sharon Rose Student Expert 6th May, 2020

Hello,

Class 12 weightage isn't a criteria for admission in a medical college. The admission is solely based on merit in NEET.So you must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks if you belong to general category, for SC/ST/OBC it is 40% for PWD it is 45% marks. If you have the required percentage then you are okay. You will get admission.

ink has fallen on my 2nd PUC admit card . They allow me to write exam?

Sai Sri Nandan Ch 12th Mar, 2020

Hello,

Generally, if the hall ticket is damaged to the extent that some particulars or the face of the candidate is not identifiable, then entry is rejected.

For Karnataka PUC exam, hall ticket is available for download from the following site:

pue.kar.nic.in

So, without worries, you can get a duplicate copy from the official website (link given above).

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

i have given code 2 in my neet qualifying examination code.i hvae passed my 10 from icse board and my 12 from Karnataka puc board.is my code 3 and i have already edited my neet form so if its wrong i cant change it so will it be a problem for me during counselling under state quota in Karnataka.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 28th Jan, 2020

Your code will be 03 because you completed your PUC from Karnataka. Code 03 says: The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.

But if you have already utilised the correction window once, you cannot use it again. While this will not cause any issues during the State Counselling, please write to NEET helpdesk at their official email id: neetug-nta@nic.in
