is there any grace marks in chemistry kcet 2020

varunvekaria 5th Aug, 2020

Dear student,

U can get grace marks because there is a reviewing committee in KCET whose duty is to check the question as well as the answers that r provided in the answer key!!

If any question proves to be wrong..i.e if no option holds good for the question u r supposed to get grace marks..

Grace marks r not awarded for wrong answers given in key! The correct answer will be put up again after the reviewing date!

Hope this helps.

I got 66/180 in pcb kcet 2020 and got 262/300 in board exam pcb what will be my rank?

Kumari Shivani 5th Aug, 2020
Hi,
Assuming that you are of general category and have a residence of Karnataka, Your General Predicted rank range is 20001 - 25000. This is based on last year's cut off, it may varies due to many reasons such as students response to colleges, number of candidates appeared, question difficulty level etc.
Thank you.

what would be my rank in kcet 2020 as i have scored 274/300 in PCM and 79/180 in kcet

Gayathri lanka 4th Aug, 2020

Hey there!

For engineering, 50 percent of kcet score is taken and 50 percent of 12th grade marks are taken and rank is calculated by adding them.Here in your case

Board marks % =91/2=45.5

Kcet marks %=79/180=43.8/2=21.9

Total = 45.5+21.9=67.4

So, your expected rank might be around 26k depending upon the competition.

Hope this helps..Have a nice day!

i have got 291/300 in pcm and 71 in kcet what rank range will i get in kcet 2020

NITIN SHARMA 4th Aug, 2020

KCET rank will be calculated by considering the performances in KCET and QE (qualifying examination) as well.I will explain with an example ,let us assume that u have scored 131/180 in KCET and 288/300 in QE,then your % marks in KCET is 72.77% and in QE it is 96% now they will add this two( that is, the formula goes like this

Rank will be given

R={(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100

Then they will sort ,who has got more R(i have taken this ‘R’ for better understanding) value will get good rank.

And the rank to a particular ‘R’ value varies every year

I got 94 percent in class 12 and 71 marks in pcm kcet 2020,with general merit and I also wrote kannada exam as horinadu and garinadu kandidate, is rank is released separately for this type of candidates and how will be my approximate rank

Swarnima Singh 11th Nov, 2020

Hiii Aspirant,

In KCET the final rank is calculated by taking 50-50 weightage of boards and KCET marks. It is difficult to calculate what rank you would get .

You have scored well in boards and good in KCET. From previous year data your rank would be around 6,000-7,000 approximately.

It might vary as rank depends on many others factors, which are very difficult to determine. But your rank would be around this .

Hope my answer helps you
