Congratulations for your rank in KCET but with this rank there is no any possibility of getting admission into government college of pharmacy in Karnataka. As we know most of the aspirant will try to take admissions in to the government colleges therefore the cut offs of government colleges are very high. According to last some years cut offs it is impossible with your rank to get admission.

KCET rank will be calculated by considering the performances in KCET and QE (qualifying examination) as well.I will explain with an example ,let us assume that u have scored 131/180 in KCET and 288/300 in QE,then your % marks in KCET is 72.77% and in QE it is 96% now they will add this two( that is, the formula goes like this

Rank will be given

R={(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100

Then they will sort ,who has got more R(i have taken this ‘R’ for better understanding) value will get good rank.

And the rank to a particular ‘R’ value varies every year

Kcet - 49/180

Board Marks - 267/300

Kcet % - 49/180*100 = 27.22%

Board % - 267/300*100 = 89%

Your KCET Rank is going to be around 39000

The rank is calculated on the basis of CET marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, along with your board examination marks. kcet score is taken and 50 percent of 12th grade marks are taken and rank is calculated by adding the 2.

If you get a rank of around 1.7 k -1.8k , you are sure to get a seat in BVSc. So, considering that you have scored around 94–95% in puc, a 140+ in kcet should be a very safe score.
