Kerala Board
Hi aspirant,
Let me first clarify you that percentage and percentile are two entirely different things. In JEE Main you would have most probably obtained 77.3 percentile which you have written incorrectly and in board examination you have obtained 88 percentage. I am answering based on this.
As far as board percentage is concerned, this year you need only to get passing certificate in board because on account of Covid19 pendemic the previous eligibility criteria i.e. getting 75% or more or being in the top 20 percentile list has been scraped. Since you have obtained 88% you are definitely meeting this eligibility criteria requirement.
Now coming to your JEE Main score. You have obtained 77.3 percentile. The general cutoff previous year was around 89 percentile and that of OBC category was 74 percentile approximately. Therefore, if you belong to any of the two categories then you would not be able to get admission in any NIT. If you belong to SC/ ST then you have chances of getting admission in NIT.
Wish you all the very best.
