i dont have maths in my +1 +2.. so am i eligible to choose Pharmacy in keam exam?

kumardurgesh1802 21st Oct, 2024

Hello there,

To be eligible for the B.Pharm course in Kerala through the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) exam, here are the important criteria you need to consider:

1. Subjects Required:

  • You must have completed your Plus Two (12th grade) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics .

  • Since you mentioned not having Mathematics in your Plus One and Plus Two, as long as you have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, you can still apply for B.Pharm.

    2. Minimum Marks:

  • Typically, a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination (Plus Two) in the required subjects is necessary for eligibility.

    3. Entrance Exam:

  • You need to appear for the KEAM exam, which assesses Physics and Chemistry, along with a third subject that may vary based on the course.

If you have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in your Plus Two, you should be eligible to pursue the B.Pharm course through the KEAM exam, even without Mathematics. Be sure to check the latest official KEAM guidelines to confirm eligibility criteria and any updates.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Can a person crack Keam if he is preparing for jee

Satvik 1st Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

Yes you can prepare for the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) exam while preparing for JEE. The syllabus for both exams overlaps significantly, especially in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. However, there are some differences in the exam pattern and emphasis that you should be aware of when transitioning from JEE preparation to KEAM.

you should see that, JEE mains is generally considered more challenging due to the deeper level of questions, while KEAM focuses on speed and accuracy but has relatively easier questions.

If you're comfortable with JEE-level questions, KEAM should be more manageable.

Best wishes for your preprations.

keam ka through mbbs ho sakta hai other states ka student ka

Alan Biju Varghese 14th Jul, 2025

No, KEAM is specially for students from Kerala, as a separate rank list is created for these students from this background, and through this rank list, they are admitted, while students can take admissions in Kerala, but they will not get the same reservation as that of a native.
