Here is the qualifying criteria for KEAM, from the official prospectus itself :

"To qualify in the Engineering Entrance Examination, and thereby become eligible to figure in the Engineeing Rank List, the candidate has to score a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper 1 and Paper 2

Hello Dwiju,

According to previous years trends, CSE is a very sought after branch in FISAT. Because of this, you cannot get a merit seat here (last year's closing rank for CSE was 16346 in general category). If you want this college, then you'll have to pay for management seat

No, you cannot take BSc admission through KEAM score.


KEAM is organised by the Commissionarate of Entrance Examinations for admissions to BTech courses in Engineering colleges, Medical and Allied courses, BArch and for BPharm.

You should only write the entrance exam if you want admissions into engineering or Pharmacy colleges.

Hello Vikram!

If spot counselling is conducted then you may get CSE in GFTIs but Aeronautics is a tough call as it is a very rare course in lower level engineering colleges of our country.

For 21000 rank in keam which best college I would likely to get admission?

For 21000 in the Engineering entrance examination there is only a tiny chance of getting a government college. IT at both GEC Idukki and Sreekrishnapuram. You also have a small chance to get ECE at GEC Mananthavady. Some government Controlled Colleges that you can get are :

It will depend upon your Plus Two marks also, as an equal weightage (50:50 ratio) is given to both your marks in KEAM and your board exam marks. If you have about 85% or above in your boards, then your rank can increase, so 222 is an adequate mark that

For getting admission in KEAM, candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary examination of kerala or equivalent exam from recognized board. Candidates are required to get 50% marks in mathematics separately and get an aggregate of 50% in physics, chemistry and mathematics together.

With only 73% in your board exams, you should score more marks in KEAM to compensate for your Board exam percentage. If you score at least 300 marks, then you'll get a rank around 16,000. With this rank, you can get most Government Controlled Colleges and very limited branches in
