Btech computer science fee structure and keam cutoff for that too

Saurabh Yadav 27th May, 2025

Hii,

The cost of a Kerala BTech in computer science varies depending on the type of college. While private colleges may cost 1-2 lakh annually, government colleges typically charge between 20,000 and 50,000. Higher management quota seats—roughly 2–3 lakh per year—and some that call for donations (5–25 lakh) are possible. Cutoffs for CSE in KEAM 2025 vary by college.

GEC Thrissur and other prestigious government colleges require rankings below 5,000. Between 5,000 and 15,000 work for private colleges like Rajagiri. Cutoffs are lower for reserved categories (SC, ST, and OBC).

What would be the last date to upload NATA score and 12 score in KEAM 2025

tanvi bansal 6th Aug, 2025

Dear Aspirant,

For KEAM 2025, the last date to upload the required marks and scores varied depending on the course stream. For Engineering and Pharmacy aspirants, candidates were required to submit their Class 12 marks specifically the marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics through the KEAM candidate portal. The initial deadline for this submission was June 2, 2025, but it was later extended to June 4, 2025. Submitting these marks was mandatory for inclusion in the KEAM Engineering and Pharmacy rank list. For Architecture (B.Arch) aspirants, the process involved uploading both the Class 12 marks and the NATA 2025 score, along with relevant documents such as the mark sheet and scorecard. The last date to complete this submission for B.Arch candidates was July 5, 2025. Failure to submit the required information by these deadlines led to exclusion from the respective KEAM 2025 rank lists.

Rupsa Banerjee 3rd Aug, 2025

Dear aspirant,

Yes. You can include your 12 Improvement examination results when applying for the KEAM 2025 exam for Architecture . The KEAM rank list takes into account both your KEAM entrance exam score and your class 12 marks . The CEE will likely provide a way for you to submit your improved marks during the marks submission process. For more information about marks entry process you can visit this link given below.

Rupsa Banerjee 5th Aug, 2025

Dear aspirant,

Based on the provided KEAM normalized score of 69.7447 and CBSE score of 79.8, the combined score will likely fall within a lower rank range . The normalization process and the specific weightage given to the KEAM exam versus the CBSE score vary each year and are determined by CEE. i got 166 marks in met and 97.4 percentage in board exam can i get manipal campus in cse branch

gopi 22nd May, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Given your MET score of 166 and a board exam score of 97.4%, you have a reasonable chance of getting CSE at the Manipal campus, though it will definitely be a little competitive. In the last few years, CSE in Manipal usually has a cutoff of around 170-180+ in MET. However, a high board percentage should help marginally in tiebreakers or merit-based ranking.

Even if you do not get core CSE, there is a fair chance of a related branch like IT or Data Science at Manipal or CSE at the Jaipur or Sikkim campuses. I would watch out after the counselling rounds, cutoffs tend to vary slightly each year.

I have not passed the keam entrance exams. I am interested in doing BTech computer science and engineering. How much donation will I have to give to get a management quota seat? How much will be the semester fees for management quota?

Kishan Bhakat 17th May, 2025

hi,

sorry to hear that. If you didn’t pass the KEAM entrance exam but want to do BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, don’t worry. You can explore these options:

  1. Management Quota or NRI Quota Seats: Many private colleges offer admission under management or NRI quota without KEAM rank. However, fees might be higher.

  2. Other State or National Level Exams: Some colleges accept JEE Main scores or other engineering entrance exams. Check if you qualify for admission through those.

  3. Direct Admission in Private Colleges: Some private colleges offer direct admission based on your 12th marks or other criteria.

Make sure to research colleges, their admission criteria, and fees carefully. Also, keep improving your qualifications for better chances next time!
