What should be rank for student with 39 percentile in keam 2025

Kishan Bhakat 16th May, 2025

hi,

A 39 percentile in KEAM 2025 roughly translates to a rank above 90,000 or more , depending on the total number of candidates and the difficulty level of the exam that year.

Note: This is just an estimated range. The official rank list considers your normalized scores from both KEAM and board exams (in the case of Engineering).

To get an accurate rank, wait for the official rank list by CEE Kerala after submission of your 12th marks.

If you’re targeting admission in government engineering colleges , a higher percentile is usually needed. However, you can still explore private colleges under management quota or apply for courses with lower cut-offs .

Let me know your stream (Engineering/Pharmacy/etc.) if you need specific advice!

i got 26 percentile score and 20 notmalised score what will be my rank in keam . can i get ece department

Tanisha chaudhary 15th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!

With 26 percentile and 20 normalized scores in KEAM 2025, your rank can be expected to be extremely high (low performance)-almost above 60,000 or even more, as per the historical trends.

KEAM Percentile, Marks, and Rank Relationship

  1. Percentile less than 85 and marks less than 100 out of 600 typically reflect a rank higher than 20,000-often much higher.
  2. A normalized mark of 20 is very low, as the majority of candidates who get engineering seats achieve more than 100–200 marks.

ECE Admission Prospects

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a sought-after branch.
  • For government and premier private colleges, ECE generally closes at much lower ranks (in top 20,000–40,000).
  • Based on your percentile and normalized mark, chances of your getting ECE in any government or good private college through KEAM counselling are very remote.
  • With 26 percentile and 20 normalized score, your position will be too high for ECE admission in KEAM colleges. Opt for management quota or diploma streams, or attempt again next year for a higher score.

Tanisha chaudhary 15th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!

Marks (Out of 600) Expected Rank Range

550 – 600           1 – 5,000

500 – 549            5,001 – 10,000

450 – 499             10,001 – 20,000

400 – 449             20,001 – 30,000

350 – 399              30,001 – 40,000

300 – 349              40,001 – 50,000

250 – 299               50,001 – 60,000

Below 250              60,000+

Your aggregate score of 410.9 puts you in the rank range of 20,000 to 30,000.

Summary

With a KEAM rank score of roughly 411 out of 600, your probable rank will be between 20,000 and 30,000. This is an approximation; actual ranks can differ slightly depending on the competition of the year and normalization.

If I want to get admission in petro chemical engineering how much score that I secure for KEAM

Kishan Bhakat 14th May, 2025

Hi,

To get admission in Petrochemical Engineering through KEAM , you should aim for a rank under 7,000 . That usually means you need a KEAM score of around 500–550+ , along with good marks in your 12th PCM subjects since both are considered.

Actual cutoff can vary each year, so keep an eye on the official updates.

Hope this helps!

i have 81 normalised score out of 300 in keam and 75 session percentile also 300/300 marks in my +2 exam iam a state syllabus student also a repeater will i get into any government engineering college

Swayam 14th May, 2025

Your chances of being accepted into a government engineering college in Kerala are minimal if you have a normalized KEAM score of 81 out of 300 and a 75 percentile for high-demand fields like computer science, electrical engineering, or ECE because these colleges often have considerably higher closing ranks (often under 5,000).  However, based on your final KEAM rank and category, you could have a chance in less desirable fields or at self-financing colleges.  During the counseling process, verify your real rank and compare it with the cutoffs from prior years for various institutions and branches, as admission is solely determined by the rank list that is released following the results.

i got 50 pecentile in keam and 86% in board exams how much will be my keam rank?

Samriddha Pal 9th Jun, 2025

Hello,

If you scored 50 percentile in KEAM and 86% in your board exams, your KEAM rank will be calculated by giving equal weightage (50:50) to your normalized KEAM score and your Class 12 board marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Since you scored relatively well in your board exams, this will positively impact your rank. Your rank will probably fall in the 35,000 to 45,000 range, though this is only an estimate.

Hope this helps. All the best!

I have NATA on May 31 and my result will be on June first week. Can I include that mark in my KEAM 2025 ?

Tanisha chaudhary 14th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!!

Yes, you can mention your NATA score in your KEAM 2025 application for B.Arch admission if you adhere to the official submission date of your NATA result.

As per the official KEAM prospectus and latest updates, only NATA scores obtained on or before June 30, 2025, will be taken into account for preparing the KEAM B.Architecture rank list. As your NATA exam is scheduled to be held on May 31 and your result is coming out in the first week of June, you will be getting your score well prior to the June 30 deadline.

What you have to do:

  • When you get your NATA result, enter your NATA score and upload the scorecard on the KEAM portal during the window for marks entry for B.Arch candidates.
  • Ensure that you do this prior to the date announced by CEE Kerala as the deadline.

what will be my keam rank 2025 with keam score 280/600 after normalistion and state board kerala syllabus score 98.5%

Chelsie G 18th Aug, 2025

With a KEAM score of 280 out of 600 and a Kerala state board score of 98.5%, your final rank will be calculated after normalisation and combining both scores in a 50:50 ratio. Since your board percentage is very high, it will give you a strong boost. Based on previous year trends, you can expect your KEAM 2025 rank to be somewhere in the range of 1,500 to 3,000. However, the exact rank depends on the overall performance of students, normalisation process, and cutoff variations that year.
