If i got 425 in keam and 91.3% in +2 kerala state. What will be my rank? And in which college can i get admission?

Aditi Singh 22nd Jul, 2022

Hey student!

KEAM rank list will be released by Commissioner of Examination on August 15, 2022 on the official website. You need to login using your credentials to check the rank list for qualified candidates. The rank list is prepared based on the marks obtained in KEAM entrance test and your board marks in ratio 50:50

It is difficult to predict your exact rank as it depends on various factors like :

>> No. of students appearing and qualifying the exam

>> marks students secure

>>difficulty level of paper, etc.

If we analyze previous years rank pattern, your KEAM score is 425/960 and your boards percentage is 91.3% from KERELA state board. So, your predicted rank can be ~4.5k. Also, note that this rank is only based on previous years rank fashion and it could vary with the original rank list.

Considering admission through management quota, you can get a seat in following colleges :

  • Government model engineering college
  • Government engineering college
  • College of engineering, Thrissur
  • Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology, kottayam

Hope this helps

Hello aspirant

According to the last 2 years of cut-offs, it said that if you want to get admission to a government veterinary college you at least have to get t following marks that depend on your cast in NEET:

  • For GENERAL you have to score 510+
  • For OBC you have to score 480+
  • For SC you have to score 420+
  • For ST you have to score 400+

And to get admission to a private veterinary college you have to score the following marks concerning your cast:

  • For GENERAL the AIQ closing marks were 500+
  • For OBC the AIQ closing marks were 400+
  • For SC the AIQ closing marks were 380+
  • For ST the AIQ closing marks were 350+

The fee structure for a government college ranges from 5000- 50,000.

And the fee structure for a private college is quite high it ranging from 25000-10,00,000.

According to your expected marks, I think it might be a bit difficult to get a seat this year. But it's not the last chance work for it and one day you will get it.

Does students of North India studying in medical colleges of kerala face problem over there????

rajeevanand843 7th Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant

I can understand your concern as I'm also a north indian students studying in medical College of Kerala.

Don't worry much about that, you are not gonna face much problem here, there are two major concern here coming to Kerala is language issue and food habits. All other things are pretty much good here.

In academic things you gonna never face issues as all teachers will be using English as teaching language and for  communicating. Although you will have to learn the local language as you will have to interact with patients and most of the patient will be knowing Malayalam only if you go in some district.

Also you must be knowing Kerala is most literate state so in educational basis they are very standard and they don't compromise with that, it's means if you come here certainly you will get best kind of medical education in most of the top and average medical College in Kerala. Although here are also some college which is below average.

To avoid major problem language issue and food, try to take college in major cities of Kerala where north indian population are found such as kochi, trivandrum, Calicut/Kozhikode, Thrissur etc these are major cities where you can choose your college where sometime you may found people with high socio-economic status who will be knowing English or Hindi language. Also in these cities you will find north indian resturant so you can get some taste on weekends.

In all other things, there are no any other issues i had faced here. Ragging here is in minimal amount as compared to North Indian college. Also from teachers to students or local people all are very kind and generous people, they are one of most humble people's in India.

So i don't think you gonna face any major problem if you see academically although you will be facing some minor issues which you will have everywhere when you go to a new city.

Hope i have provided with you enough information to clear your mind.

All the best

Im from kerala.will i be able to write exam in thrivanandhapuram?or do i have to choose centres from other states, cause i have never heard of centre in Thiruvananthapuram

Kushagra Singh 6th Jul, 2022

Hi,

I hope you are doing good. As you have mentioned you are from Kerala. There are many ion-Digital zones available in Kerala . As most of the state and national level exams are carried out in such centers, you can fill your nearest center for your comfort of the exam. As you are unknown for Thiruvananthapuram, you can apply for more nearby places.

If the most nearest place is Thiruvananthapuram from your location, I suggest you to go and inspect the center a day or two days before the actual exam. It will help you greatly during the exam day.

Thank you!
