I applied for ksom through my cat percentile. Whats the cut off required to get admission there? I searched for it but didnt get it nywhere

dhruv khandal 14th Feb, 2019

Greetings,

Simran to be on safe side you need to score 85 percentile or above to secure a seat in KSOM . And as you have not mentioned your percentile or score I cannot possibly tell you whether you will be get admission in here or not but if you have percentile above 85 you can stop worrying but in the end it all depends on the number of applicants , their scores , seats in different program . But if you have not got above 85 then do drop a comment or write a question stating your pecentile and your scores then I can suggest different colleges where you can apply according to your percentile .

Other eligibility  criteria requirement :

Graduation in any discipline with 50 % aggregate marks

10th and 12 th board examination with 50 % aggregate marks

Sri sri university or ksom which one is better in odisha in terms of placement nd ROI.please suggest me.

G Rakesh 7th Feb, 2019

Hello.

KIIT School of Management is a business school located in Bhubaneswar, Orrisa, India. It was established in 1993 as Institute of Business Administration and Training. It is a constituent institute of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology

When it comes to KIIT School of Management aka KSOM, a student need not worry about placements because top-notch companies visit the campus for placements every year. Companies like Deloitte, Khimji Ramdas, TVS, ITC, Dabur and Nestle offer an average salary package of 6.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA.placement cell is very approachable and friendly, and they solve all our doubts related to career and placements. The teaching style, infrastructure. Everything is nice. One demerit is that there is no enough amount of freedom to pursue extra curricular activities along with courses.

Sri Sri University has been established under the Sri Sri University Act, 2009 No. 15024-I-Legis.-33/08/L, notified in Odisha Gazette No. 1899 on 26 December 2009. The University came into operation in the year 2012 and is emerging as a centre for premier education in India.

The average salary package offered is 11 LPA. Almost 90% of students got a campus internship from here. There are a placement cell and an incubation centre too. Placements here are great for every course, as we all know that the Art of Living Foundation has great contacts and a huge network of people from all over the world. This makes SSU a hub of new startups and placements for every course of the university.

Though Sri Sri University is new than KSOM both are good at placements. You can choose any of them.

Hope this is helpful.

Good luck.

Is ksom good for mba suggest me

Rohit Roy 2nd Nov, 2018
Hi Aspirant,
KSOM is one of the best B-Schools of the state and also has a decent rank in Eastern India.
The infrastructure, faculty, environment of the college are all top notch and you can compare it with any top B-School of the country.
The placements are also quite satisfactory with the average package being around 6-7 lpa and the highest package goes upto 15 lpa.
All in all,it is quite a good place to get your MBA degree and brush up your skills to face the business world outside.
Hope this helps.

My rank in kiitee mba 2018 is 219. To know about the rank. Is it good or bad.

Vikas Gaur 2nd May, 2018

Hi Subhransu,

There is apparently no information given about the ranks on the official website. The counselling session is starting from May 10 for admissions. You can contact the institute at 0674-2742103 / 2741747 for any kind of query related to admissions. These numbers are assigned for student queries only. To know more about the admissions, counselling, and documents to carry for counselling, you can explore the KIIT-KSOM brochure here -

Hope that helps.

How much MAT score does it accept?

Akshay Kadam 8th Jan, 2018

Ayushi MAT score and percentile required to get admission vary from college to college. And MAT score is not the only criteria to get a call from any of the colleges. First, there are eligibility criteria for each college then they call you for next round of WSAT, GD and interview on the basis of your aggregate score made with different parameters including your MAT marks, 10th, 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, extracurricular. Again all these parameters have different weightage in the aggregate score for different colleges.

For KIIT school of management, Bhubaneshwar MAT cut off is generally 600+ marks. It's a pretty good college with a good infrastructure, low fees and a good placement record.

All the best!!
