Maths section of KVPY covers the NCERT books. It'll be good if you can go through it once. The level isn't very high. Also, download and practise as mnay KVPY sample papers you can for a better practice. This will familiarize you with the exam pattern, marking scheme followed

As per KVPY eligibility criteria, candidates studying in class 11, 12 and UG first year are eligible to apply for SA, SX and SB streams, respectively. The eligibility is different for each stream SA/SX/SB. You can check the complete information about KVPY with the given below link.

No, NSIT DU and IIIT institutions do not accept KVPY or NTSE ranks and neither they give special privilages if you clear those exams.

Analyse Syllabus & Exam Pattern - First of all, it is very important to know the complete syllabus from where the examination will be asked.

Rayoptics, Electromagnetism,, Thermodynamics, Atomic structure  Chemical bonding, chemical energetics, quadratic equation, Coordinate Geometry, permutations and combination are all important topics for SA stream in KVPY 2018.

I am sorry to say that you won't be able to apply for KVPY anymore this year as the last date to fill the application form is over. You can apply for the same next year, till then you prepare for the exam.
