• Students who are eligible for admission in 1st year of an undergraduate program in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.) during the academic year 202-23 can apply for KVPY 2022.
• They must have secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in total in maths and science subjects in 12th class exams.
KVPY SB Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
----- To obtain fellowship, selected students must secure 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in the 1st year final exam of their undergraduate program.

Yes you can apply for the aptitude test while studying in 12th class itself on condition that you will secure a minimum aggregate of 60% after the exam. There is relaxation of 10% for different reserved category of SC/ST/PwD candidates. Also you must have score at least 75% at 10th level to be eligible.

The KVPY 2022 Exam will be held in the last week of January 2023.

Yes kvpy exam is cancelled and it will be no longer conducted 2022 onwards.
Department of science and technology (DST) has decided to cancel the kvpy exam and to discontinue it.
instead kvpy fellowship programme would now be combined with the INSPIRE fellowship.
DST has decided to subsume kvpy with INSPIRE.

Students enrolled in fundamental scientific courses in grades 11, 12, and the first year of undergrad school are qualified for the SA, SX, and SB streams, respectively, according to KVPY eligibility requirements. KVPY applications are only accepted from Indian citizens.
There is no minimum age requirement for the KVPY exam to apply for SA, SB, or SX, according to IISc, Bangalore. But the students who are studying in Class 11, Class 12, or First Year of Undergraduate Study are eligible for KVPY exam.

According to the website and the notification released for KVPY, M.Sc./Int. During the interim period of one year they will be invited for the National Science (Vijyoshi) Camp and their travel expenses and local hospitality will be met by KVPY.

It is anticipated that the KVPY application process will begin in July 2022. Only online will the application form be made available.
Candidates will have until the 4th week of august to complete the application.
Only qualified candidates will be given access to the application form, thus applicants should confirm their eligibility before submitting a KVPY application.
Any alterations to the information provided by applicants in the application form will result in the rejection of the form.
Each and every qualified applicant must submit their application before the deadline, since none will be accepted beyond that time.

No, kvpy sx is for students who are enrolled into 12th standard and kvpy sb is for students who are enrolled into 1st year bachelors program and hence obviously the question papers are different from one another. there is another exam known as kvpy sa, it is for the students enrolled in 11th grade.
