Hey there

Talking practically I would not suggest you to prepare for boards in order to clear exams like kvpy. If you would see the question paper of kvpy then you will find that they ask for the whole syllabus far before your college takes the final test of 11th.

Hey Fariya !
Since you have passed your Class 12. This means that for appearing in the KVPY Exam, you must enroll yourself in a B.Sc. degree first of all, because, being in a Engg or Med. field, you won't be able to appear for the exam.
