Yes, KVPY conducted for the SX stream does include syllabus of both Class 11th as well as Class 12th.
It's better if you prepare hard for both since there's generally a 50-50 weightage of both the Classes making it a well balanced paper for the students appearing.

               The eligibility criteria for SX stream in KVPY is :
  • Candidates have to obtain minimum 80% marks for general category in aggregate in Science amd mathematics  in High school examinations.
  • Candidates have to score at least 60% marks in aggregate in science subjects in 12th standard.
