You can definitely take admission in IISC Bangalore if you have a good KVPY score.It doesn't matter you have PCB or PCM,what they will see is if you have qualified KVPY exam.If you have qualified both the exam and the interview of KVPY,you are most likely to get

From 1st of February, IISc is starting the application process for different PhD programmes such as regular Research Programmes PhD / MTech (Research), M Tech/M Des/M Mgt, and Integrated Ph D Programmes.

As per the eligibility criteria for KVPY SB stream-

  • Candidates studying in the first year of Bachelor degree in Basic Sciences are only eligible
  • Candidates must have scored at least 60% in 12th class while it is 50% for reserved categories SC/ST/PWD.
  • Also, candidates should secure minimum 60%

Hello Abhishek,

To become an astronomer the prefered subjects one should pursue are physics or aeronautics in graduation, masters which would be followed by PhD. Pursuing biology as a subject won't help much.

Hey! Hi Abhas.
If you want to apply for IISER APTITUDE TEST through SCB CHANNEL then, you don't need to have JEE ADVANCED and KVPY admit cards.
You just need to pass the IISER aptitude test and need to follow the further instructions provided.

Yeah you can get the 200+ marks in JEE mains 

if you read the NCERT books properly and refer the some of the refernce books 

and aslo read the previous year question papers
