Not sure about KJ Somaiya but Sydenham accepts ATMA scores. The cut off will be 99 percentile or more than that. Both the college's also accept CMAT score with percentile of 98+.

Yes, you can appear for the KVPY the following year only if you take admission in a bachelors program for basic sciences. You will be eligible to apply under SB Stream but make sure you obtain 60% marks in class 12 board exams and maintain that the following year
