I got 137 marks in klee 2019 (5 year). I am sc .Is there any chance for getting admission in any govt college?

Sharmakeshav63652_9487666 Student Expert 6th Jul, 2019

Hey !

Being an SC candidate , you need to score at least 50% marks i.e. 30 to qualify the KLE exam 2019. Since your score is more than 30 , you clearly qualify the KLEE exam but now ,if we consider the cutoffs for government colleges , then you have low chances for getting a seat in give year courses in any government college.

Also , it heavily depends upon your rank , becsuse for rank below 350 , you can get a seat in government college . Since , you are an SC candidate , you even have chances for rank upto 500.

With your marks only given , i can just ssy that chances seem very less for government colleges.

To check the expected KLEE cutoffs for 2019 ,follow the given link :

Hope it helps!

My rank in KLEE 2019 is 689. I am from Ezhava community . Am I eligible to get admission in Govt. colleges or in self-financing colleges

srinja.006_9773413 Student Expert 6th Jul, 2019

Hi Arya.

Congratulations on securing this rank.

Based on the expected cutoffs of this year (which is listed based on the cutoffs of previous years) you might not be able to get admission in a Government College but will surely get it in some really good self-financing law colleges.

I am listing below the names of some colleges where you can get admission based on your rank :-

  • CSI college for legal studies, Ettumanoor, Kottayam
  • Bharat mata school of legal studies, Aluva east, Ernakulam
  • Co - operative school of law, Mutharamkannu, Thodupuzha
  • Mar Gregorios college of law, Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram
  • Sree narayana law college, Poothotta, Ernakulam

You can visit https://law.careers360.com/articles/klee-cutoff to get information regarding the expected cutoffs of this year for different law colleges in Kerala and shortlist the names of those colleges where you can get admission.

Hope that helped

All the best!

Hello,

For KLEE candidates of General category need to score atleast 10% of the total marks and SC/ST candidates need to score 5% of the total marks to qualify the exam. You have scored a great rank for admission in the government colleges of Trivandrum and Ernakulum.Based upon the expected cutoffs for this year the cutoff for Government Law College,Ernakulam may be in the range of 170-173,an for Government Law College,Trivandrum may be in the range of 190-200.You also have very good chances of admission in the Government Law Colleges of Thrissur and Kozikhode.

The counselling may start from the month of July for the five year integrated law programmes and in October for three year LLB programmes.

I got 162 marks in klee 2019 with a rank of 2356. I am ezhava and is there any chance to get admission in gov seats in private colleges.

Souparni Student Expert 25th Jun, 2019

Hello Malavika,

According to your score, you don't seem to have any chance in Govt Law Colleges as the lowest expected score is around 173. However, according to your rank, here are some of the self-financed colleges you can consider as per the expected cutoff -

  • Mount Zion Law college - expected rank - 2987
  • V.R. Krishnan law college - 2759
  • Co-operative school of law  - 2953( B.Com LLB) and 2758 for BBA LLB

The expected cutoff rank for Ehava category in five-year LLB programmes is around 2862 and for three-year LLB programmes its around 1487.

So, it seems that you have a good chance of getting admission to five-year programmes.

All the Best!
