Kerala Law Entrance Examination or KLEE is an entrance exam which is conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination(CEE) every year for candidates who want to get admission in 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM programmes, offered by colleges in the state of Kerala.The pattern of the exam is that it contains objective type questions and is of 3 hours. There are a total of 200 questions of 600 marks. The sections consist of General English, General Knowledge, and Aptitude for Legal Studies. Negative Marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer.The eligibility criteria for candidates for a 3-year course are that they should be an Indian citizen, graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (42% for Backward class) and 40% (for SC/ST). There is no lower age limit. The eligibility criteria for the 5-year course are that the applicant must be an Indian citizen. The person applying must have passed HSC (12th) from a recognized board. The applications for the entrance exam for the year2019 was available in online mode on the official portal at www.cee.kerala.gov.in. from 3rd week of July 2019 to 4th week of July 2019.

The KLEE Application process will begin somewhere in the third week of July (for three year law) and last week of July (for five year integrated law course). You will have one month's window to complete all formalities related to the application form process. Examination fee of KLEE 2019......is as follows
LLB 3 year course:For general candidates-rs.600
for sc/st candidates-rs.300
LLB 5 year course:For general candidates- rs.600
.candidates belongs to sc/st will get 5% relaxation
.candidates belongs to ebc will get 3% relaxation
. 3% reservation for the person with disabilities

The admission procedureto KLEE involves an online application process after which you will have to appear for their entrance exam which is the Government of Kerala Law Entrance that is scheduled for the third week of August (for 3 year programme) and last week of July (for 5 year programme) this year.
The online application begins in June first week and will close by the last week of the same month as per the pattern of the previous years. If you are looking to apply for a five year LLB programme, you will be able to fill KLEE 2019 application form last week of June, 2019 till first week of July, 2019. If you are aspiring to enroll into a three year LLB programme, the application form of KLEE 2019 will be available to fill from third week of July, 2019 to last week of July, 2019. However, any change in the dates will be notified online soon and I shall help you with it, whenever I get the update. You can apply and register for the KLEE exam and also secure the Prospectus from the official Commission for Entrance Exam website, on the following link -http://www.cee-kerala.org/. The filled in form with all the required documents should then be sent or forwarded to, either through a registered post or hand deliverybefore the closing date -

And it is important and I specifically advice you to go through the Prospectus very carefully before submitting your form.
The eligibility criteria for KLEE is as follows -
1. The candidate should be of 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2019; that is, nobody below 17 years of age is eligible to sit for the exam.
2. You should have passed 12th class from the Kerala Board or any other recognised board/institution in the country with a minimum of 40% (35% for the reserved category)
The Exam pattern -
1. The exam will follow a multiple choice question (MCQ) pattern with 200 questions and will be of a 3 hours duration covering GK, Legal Aptitude and English Language.
2. The exam will be held in 4 centres - Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur.
The application fee for general category candidates is Rs.600 whereas the pplication fee for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category is Rs.300 and this fee is common for applying to both the 3 year as well as the 5 year programme. Dear Senthil, The application form for LLM course starts from January 4th week and ends by 1st week of February. The admit cards can be downloaded from 3rd week of February and the Entrance exam is in the 4th week of February. The results will be declared by the 1st week of March. For 5 year integrated LLB course, application process starts in 1st week of June and for 3 year LLB course, it might be 3rd week of July. As all the dates are tentative, we would suggest you to keep an eye on the website.
