Nilratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata offers medical courses in full-time mode. NLSMC offers MD, MS, DM, M.Ch., PGD, MBBS and Diploma degrees in different specialisations. Admissions to MBBS programmes are based on NEET UG scores. Admission to D.M and M.Ch programmes are based on NEET SS scores and to M.D and M.S programmes based on NEET PG scores. Students also need to register and qualify for the All India level counselling conducted to offer admissions to various medical colleges of India based on NEET scores.

For NLSMC UG courses, the total fees to be paid at the time of admission is Rs 6,600/- (1st-semester Tuition fees- Rs 4,500/-, Admission fees – Rs 1,000/-, Caution deposit – Rs 1,000/- and Union fees – Rs 100/-). Fees are to be deposited in cash during admission. Rs 5,500/- is adjustable (for upgradation to Govt College of West Bengal)/refundable on upgradation/seat cancellation within permissible time limit.

Specialisations offered in the NLSMC MS programme are MS Obstetrics and Gynecology, MS General Surgery, MS Ophthalmology, MS Orthopedics, MS Anatomy, and MS ENT.  Candidates seeking admission to M.D/M.S programmes need to appear and qualify for NEET (PG). Based on the qualifying marks achieved by candidates in NEET (PG), they will have to register themselves for NEET (PG) counselling. Candidates need to select Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital as their first preference in the NEET (PG) counselling.

For the MBBS programme, you need to appear and qualify for NEET (UG). Candidates seeking admission to D.M/M.Ch programmes need to appear and qualify for NEET SS. Candidates seeking admission to M.D/M.S programmes need to appear and qualify for NEET (PG).
