see it always helpful if you know local languages when you are in another state, however b.tech courses are taught in English only and it will not be problem for you if your English specking skills is good.

As mentioned in their website, possession and use of mobile phone is prohibited inside the campus and also in the bus. So you are not allowed to use mobile phones in or during class. But mobiles phones are the basic requirement for every person so you can use it in hostel. Though you should take permission from the warden.

Both the colleges are affiliated to Anna university, Chennai. Course study time is 4 years and Aicte approved courses. In kongu engineering college it will take 2 lakh to study. Whereas in Bannari Amman college, it will take 3lakh to study. In management quota it will increase more.

The college is very good for students who pursue engineering . The infrastructure is also good with the facilitites like WIFI , Library , Labs etc: The fees for msc software systems is adequate as compared to the private colleges in which the fees are very high .You can get an internship during your 3rd year and also get a good stipend .The placements you will get will also be good with good software companies offering good salary packages . So overall the college is very good for msc in software systems . The academics and curricullum is also up to date  with students getting enough  time to study and understand the subjects . The teachers are also good at this college . So overall it is a good college to study masters .

The things you require in your daily life are the first thing you need to carry on with you. The things like Bags, Bottles, Locks, etc are essentials. Going to any hostel requires you to set up your room there like a new life and thus you need a lot of things. Students generally carry light luggage to the hostel and buy small things as you need them. Some people do bring specifics like Coffee Mug, Spoon, etc for their personal use. I would also suggest you carry a room freshener, if possible. Go with the bare minimum essentials like shoes, bags, watch, dress, bottle, towel, bucket and mug, something like a blanket, etc to make your room livable and then start buying small items like soap, soap holder, LAN wire, notebooks, etc.
