Yes there are sports quota in few law colleges. Maximum 3% quota can be given to sports personal. But you must fulfill their criteria such as few college only take national level players whereas some consider state level players. GLC Mumbai does have sports quota.

There are a lot of good law colleges like NLU Jodhpur, NLU Kolkata, NLU Delhi etc. For all these prestigious colleges there are several national law examinations. For example there's CLAT, AILET. All these colleges have a special NRI quota but note your friend has to be Indian
