For admisison in Panjab University, Chandigarh the final ranks will be prepared after combining 50% weightage of boards marks and 50% weightage of entrances marks. So both the scores are equally important. So knowing your boards results would be more helpful in finding out your chances of Admission.

If you have got total of 45 marks then chances are quite silm though you should wait till the last round of counselling you can't actually predict accurately.
