Hi! With an AP LAWCET 2025 rank of 1338 and belonging to the BC category, you have a good chance of getting a seat in VD Siddhartha Law College, Vijayawada, as previous year closing ranks for BC candidates were generally higher than this. Admission will also depend on seat availability in the college and counseling rounds, so it’s important to participate in the counseling process and keep an eye on the official seat allotment notifications. https://law.careers360.com/articles/ap-lawcet-rank-wise-college-list

Hello, Since you have a background in science and law, an MA in sociology, and are an Adeeb Mahir, you have a diverse academic profile. You can consider career options that combine your interests, such as research, teaching, social work, law-related roles, or cultural studies. You may also explore government jobs, NGOs, legal consulting, or higher studies in interdisciplinary fields that value both law and social sciences. Focus on roles that match your skills, interests, and academic qualifications. Hope this helps you.
Yes, you have a good chance of getting into private law colleges with a 2254 rank in the Calcutta University Law Entrance Test, as many private institutions have different admission criteria and cutoffs. Your rank is likely to be competitive for many private colleges, even if it's not sufficient for the University of Calcutta's own merit-based admission process.
I hope it will clear your query!!
If you’re a working professional and want to study law without attending college regularly, it’s partly possible depending on your goal. In India, the Bar Council doesn’t allow distance or online LLB degrees for those who wish to practice as lawyers. However, if you just want to learn about law for knowledge, business, or career growth in another field, many universities offer distance or online law-related programs like diplomas or certificates. So yes, you can study law through distance learning, but to become a licensed advocate, you’ll need to complete a regular LLB course approved by the Bar Council of India.
Thank you
All the best
