Hello Dear Student,
- If you want to become a lawyer: No. After Class 12, you need to pursue a 5-year integrated law degree (such as BA LLB , BBA LLB , or B.Com LLB ) from a Bar Council of India-approved college. Many private colleges offer admission without CLAT or other CETs , based on Class 12 marks or their own admission process.
- If you mean a Diploma in Law (certificate/diploma course): Yes. Some universities and institutes offer diploma courses in areas such as Cyber Law, Labour Law, Intellectual Property Rights, or Criminology, and many admit students without an entrance exam , based on eligibility and merit. However, these diploma courses do not qualify you to practice as an advocate .
Hope it helps!
