which is better taking Artificial intelligence and machine learning or computer science engineering as coarse in Btech 1st year

Arhana Chakraborty 24th Sep, 2021

See when ever you wish to choose a specialization subject then its always better to choose one which you are sure of liking it. Now if you have basics of AI and ML then you can go for the course. But if you don't know how its exactly like or whether you are enthusiastic about it or not then as per my opinnion I would recommend you to go for CSE. Now if you want to know about AI and ML, I am providing some link which can give you some insight to the fields. And if you feel enthusiastic about it then go for it else its better to go for CSE core.

what difference between 1.b.tech computer science engineering (artificial intelligence and machine learning) and 2.b.tech in computer science and technology (spl.in artificial intelligence and machine learning)

TANISHA 17th Sep, 2021

Hi Neelraj. There is no difference as such between BTECH CSE ( Artificial intelligence and machine learning) and BTECH computer science and technology specialization in Artificial intelligence and machine learning. If you're interested in both Hardware and Software you may  choose CSE. If you're interested in only Software, then you may go with CST. In both the courses you will basically be taught engineering with specialization in AI and ML

I have got 74917 rank in obc category June session is it good for advanced or can I get seat in nit surathkal (artificial intelligence and machine learning)

Anurag Khanna 17th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that there is no AI & ML seat in the NIT instead there is CSE branch and :-

Closing OBC rank for NIT Surathakal was :-

  • Computer Science and Engineering branch - 1734 (Home state quota)

So you have no any chances to get NIT Surathakal with any of the branches even if you have Home state quota.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
