How are legal aptitude questions are asked in Lawcet entrance examination?

Hello,

TS LAWCET is conducted for 90 minutes in online mode in MCQs format carrying 120 questions, one mark is awarded for each correct answer, there is no negative marking scheme, there are three sections such as general knowledge and mental ability, current affairs, aptitude for the study of law, the exam is conducted in English, Hindi, Telugu

the three sections consists of the following syllabus;

  • General Knowledge includes history, geography, environment, political science
  • Current Affairs includes current events of national and international importance such as new appointments, appointments, sports, awards etc.
  • Mental Ability includes syllogism, puzzles, number and series, algebra, blood relation and direction based questions.
  • Legal Aptitude has India polity including constitution, judiciary, parliament, fundamental rights and duties, DPSPs, important acts and amendments, judgments and cases, law of torts, contracts.

Du llb entrance exam 2022 legal aptitude

Hi,

The University of Delhi has extended the DU LLB and LLM application form till June 10, 2022. Eligible candidates can submit their DU PG (LLB & LLM) 2022 application form online at - admission.uod.ac.in. National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the DU LLB 2022 entrance exam, a part of DU Entrance Test tentatively in the fourth week of June. The offline based DU LLB 2022 entrance exam will be conducted across the country. The question paper of DU LLB 2022, will have 100 questions to be answered within 120 minutes. The syllabus of DU LLB entrance exam 2022 consists of English language comprehension, analytical abilities, general knowledge and Legal awareness and aptitude.

what is the difference between the legal aptitude and aptitude of study of law

Hello,

Leagl aptitude means legal reasoning not just legal knowledge. In this type of questions you have to focus mainly legal cause where you can get a set of facts and principle of law. You have to apply principle first then you can go for solve the question.

Aptitude in law it's also part of legal aptitude dear. This aptitude test check your knowledge for any law entrance examination. It's mainly focused on your knowledge about the fact. This is the main difference between them. But all over aptitude are almost same. You have to practice more and more aptitude then you can solve it very quickly.

The other component is Legal Knowledge, which consists of questions based on legal facts and current events related to the field of law . ... Till 2019, CLAT entrance had a separate Legal aptitude section.

Legal aptitude is one of the section in law entrance exam for UG courses.For the best result in this section there are many books which are really beneficial for the aspirants.here I provide the name of some best book(as per my knowledge) :-
*Legal Aptitude for the CLAT and other Law Entrance Examinations : A Workbook (by A.P Bhardwaj)-. It include all the facts and figures from basics level to high level,which will definitely help us.
*All NCERT Books on political science  of classes 11 and 12.
*A Modern Approach to Logical Reasoning(by R .S Agarwal)
*Our parliament,Our constitution,Our judiciary (By National Book trust)-Really these three books are helps students to buildup their concepts.it contains almost all the information about our parliament, constitution ,as well as about judiciary.

is legal aptitude removed from the syllabus of CLAT for the year 2021?

Alena, CLAT 2020 itself is yet to  be conducted and so it is too early to talk about 2021. We shall give a glimpse of CLAT 2020 syllabus so that you know how to prepare a hear ahead. CLAT is a 2 hour test with 150 MCQs. Each correct answer gets you 1 mark and wrong answer takes away 0.25 marks. The exam is divided into 5 subjects:

English

Current Affairs including General Knowledge

Logical Reasoning

Legal Reasoning

Quantitative Aptitude

Instead of Legal Aptitude, it is now Legal Reasoning. Legal Reasoning section has passages of 450 words each which may relate to fact situations or scenarios involving legal matters, public policy questions or moral philosophical enquiries. You need not require any prior legal knowledge. General awareness will do. You have to identify and infer the rules and passages set out in the passage and apply those rules to various fact situations and understand how changes to the rules or principles may alter the application to various fact situations.
