Eligibility and Career Possibilities After class 12 exams, anyone can take up a course in Library Science. Graduates from any domain can go for Bachelors degree in library science which en roles students for two semesters.

The minimum educational eligibility to join post graduation in library sciences from ignou is -
BLIS degree from any recognised university or any other qualifications considered equivalent to BLIS such as P.G. Diploma in Library Science/Librarianship from a recognised university.
So if one fulfill the above eligibility criteria he/she can apply to the course other wise he/she will not be eligible.

Hey, the Librarian Course or professionally known as B.LibSc(Bachelor of Library Science) is a Postgraduate degree course for students who are planning to pursue the career with Library Science . The course is designed in such a way that it provides the student with an understanding of philosophy of library science, its basic principles, laws as well as social impact.
This course is also referred to as Library and Information Science (LibISc) , depending on different criteria of Universities. This course basically teaches and trains the students with the day to day activity and work that are involved in the work place of a Librarian i.e. The Library , starting from providing the knowledge of book and articles managing and also giving the knowledge of advance database soft wares used nowadays.
Admission criteria for this course is based on both merit as well as entrance exam, depending on the policy of the higher education institution in which a candidate is applying.
Eligibility criteria: Graduate with a minimum of 50% to 60% aggregate in the Bachelor degree.

All qualified and eligible candidates of AP ICET 2019 are required to pay the processing fee, book their slots and attend certificate verification after completing the registration process (Login using AP ICET 2019 Hall Ticket number and Rank). Candidates will need to attend the verification process in any one of the designated Helpline Centers (HLCs) as per the time schedule is given by APSCHE.
