Hi
IITs have a greater research scope as compared to NITs. Since in your masters, you would be working on a research topic and submitting your thesis, you would be more likely to get your own publication at an IIT, rather than an NIT. Moreover, the scope of Biotech in the country is gradually increasing, and will be beneficial if you want to seek a job later.
