For admission to B.V.Sc, you should appear for NEET. Now NEET is the entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. Once NEET scores are released, AIPVT will release the official notification and interested Candidates can appear for Counselling.

i got 73 percent in pcb isc board ..can i get admission in du bsc in life science

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Dec, 2019
Hello there!
Greetings!

Sorry to tell you dear but you haven't mentioned your category, so I am considering you from general Category , with 73 % in pcb a student from general Category cannot get admission in DU as cut off DU is quite high,

DU is a renowned university and is very famous for its high cut off.
If I tell about this year i.e 2019 , then even in 8th cut off list of DU ,at least 84 % was required to get admission in bsc life sciences.
So, unluckily with only 73% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology you cannot get into DU.

You can check DU cut off marks yourself as well by going through its official website for which link is provided below :-

http://www.du.ac.in/adm2019/Cutoff.html

Thankyou

Hi Lalnunziri,

I understand that you are interested in pursuing your M.Sc in Botany but facing a dilemma which college to choose between Miranda House and Jawaharlal Nehru University and so to answer your question please be informed that both the colleges are prominent and reputed colleges that imparts excellent standards of education. However the goodness in a college is remarked by its students and not just the infrastructure. Nevertheless my suggestion would be to join Jawaharlal Nehru University for pursuing your Masters.

which one is good among Bsc life science environmental science Bsc geology to study and have a best scope in India and abroad also which field makes a good money?

NAVNEET PANDEY 7th Dec, 2019

Hello divya

Every field is good in itself and its important to know in which field you are interested so that you can use your maximum potential and get better recognition in the industry.

The average salary for Bsc life science is 10-20k initially.for Bsc environmental science the salary can be anywhere between 20-50k, while Bsc geology have an average package of 15-30k per month.

Environmental science is a growing field all over the world. For example in USA they can earn at least 65k dollars. And as you know there's a boom in environmental issues you can get a job very easily or you can work with organisations.

I hope it helps
