BDS and M.Pharma graduates can now apply and sit for the GATE tests 2022, according to this year's updated GATE eligibility criterion. The IIT Kharagpur has already announced that the GATE exams would be held online on the 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th of February 2022.

No it is not necessary to do both B.Sc and M.Sc in forensic science in order to get into CBI.

In order to become a forensic scientist candidates must complete class 12 with basic science or maths. Candidates are required to complete their graduation with science/ math/ forensic science/ biotechnology/ pharmacy ( or accordingly to college and recruiters) .

Post graduation isn't necessary but it's always an advantage to have a post graduation degree.

You can apply for professional certificate course in data analysis for life sciences in which you will learn basic statisticals concepts and R programming skills for analysing data in the life sciences. It will be a 4 month course and every week you need to spend only 2 to 4 hours. The total fees of the course is 40,935.
