Hello dear candidate,

As per BCI rules for 5 year LL.B course minimum 45% marks is required in 12th HSC, but for ST or SC category students minimum 40% is required .

so, in conclusion, you are eligible if you belong to SC or ST category and if if are are from OBC category it depends on your state university whether they follow the minimum 42% rule or 45% rule. you are from general category if are not eligible.

Your best options are colleges like Dr. Ambedkar Global Law College and N.V.P. Law College in Visakhapatnam, All Saint's Christian Law College, and Sri Vijaynagar College of Law in Anantapur, based on previous years' cutoff trends.

Chances are good in private and semi government colleges with this rank.

current LLB Admission as llb cadete

Ankur Mehta 15th Sep, 2025

Hey! If you are looking for current LLB admissions, then you should know that the process depends on whether you are applying for a 3-year LLB or a 5-year integrated LLB. For the 3-year program, you must have completed graduation in any stream, while for the 5-year program, a 10+2 pass is enough. Most colleges/universities ask for at least 45% marks (relaxation is given for reserved categories).

Admissions are usually done through law entrance exams like CLAT, AILET, MH CET Law, AP/TS LAWCET, or other state-level tests. Some private universities also take admission directly on the basis of merit. The procedure generally includes filling out the online form, submitting required documents, paying the fee, and then appearing for the entrance/counselling process.

If by “LLB cadet” you mean any special quota or category, then it’s better to check with the respective university/college for details, as rules can vary.

I had completed B A PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION at alagappa university during 2009 Scoring 55% OBC category I will apply 3 year llb program 2026 Procedure for admission 2026 Am i eligible for the course?

Afreen 12th Sep, 2025

There is no upper age limit for LLB courses, so your 2009 graduation year is not an issue so can apply in 3 year llb program through CUET LLB and for state colleges give your state law entrance exam like MH CET Law  or you can give other universities  exams like Symbiosis.

The admission process for 2026 will generally involve applying to specific colleges or taking entrance exam, followed by counselling and document verification.
