Distance degrees are not recognised by the Bar Council of India. There is a specific notification in this regard available online and at the BCI website. LLM has been recognised as a one year course too by the BCI and you may considered pursuing it full

Arihant's clat book is best for amu law entrance. Amu law entrance exam syllabus is almost same to clat exam.its my personal advice to read current affairs of last 1 year. Mainly focus on basics of constitution and political science.
