LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur
There’s no cutoff list or opening and closing rank published by the university per se. But students do get an idea nonetheless, and since I’m a student here (Y20 CSE). I might be able to answer for the same
So the cutoffs for 2020 were as follows-
CSE- 97.1
CCE- 96.4
ECE- 95.7
MECH - around 95 (not sure about this one)
But do keep in mind that 11 lakh students appeared for JEE Mains in 2020. But around 14–15 lakh are expected to appear in 2021 (I do know that only 6.6 lakh wrote the January session, but trust me on this). So the cutoff percentile will increase.
But due to the massive improvement of placement scenario here (Avg. package of CSE grad was 14lpa and the college avg. was 12.2lpa), the cutoffs are increasing despite the fluctuation in number of students appearing for JEE.
So, due to both these factors the expected cutoff for your batch would be higher than ever-
CSE- 98 (or >97.7 at least)
CCE- 97
ECE- 96.2
MECH -95+
Dear Aspirant
LNMIIT Jaipur does not offer civil engineering course. If you want details about any other course do leave a comment.
All the best!
See CSE is the most preffered course in engineering nowadays. So you should keep the cut off of CSE to be your target score. For LNMIIT you can target 140 to be the safe score and for JIIT NOIDA you can target 110-130 marks.
**This is highly based on guessing and you should not make it as the perfect score. Try to make your score up as much as possible.
I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
In 2020, the LNMIIT cut off score was around 140 marks for Computer science & Engineering.

According to JEE MAINS predictor, you can expect an percentile ranging between 99.09-99.17. Now regarding LMNIIT admission, its dependent on your rank as well as the category you belongs to. Also the inflation in the marks can effect the probability. considering all the facts, I think you have a good probability of having a chance to get admitted in LNMIIT.

Hey!
Comparing in terms of infrastructure and other facilities:
VIT> Thapar > LNMIIT > JIIT
Comparing in terms of placements:
Thapar/VIT > LNMIT > JIIT
VIT vellore and thapar institute are popular for its placement records and are considered as the top engineering colleges in India. Also, when it comes for fee structure Thapar and VIt charge a low fee compared to LNMIIT. however JIIT also offers good placement opportunities to students but are not as much good as VIT or Thapar.
Hope I answered your query.
Thankyou
Greetings,
I'd say Maharaja Agresen with CSE would be a better choice because:
- CSE and IT students have an abundance of placement options whereas ECE students and other branches all have to apply for IT or managerial positions (sitting with CSE students for the same campus placements)
- If you want to study CSE (which I assume you do, hence the confusion) then go for CSE as it offers many future prospects aside from jobs like research, higher studies abroad, etc.
- No matter how good a college, attracting placements for branches like electronics, civil, etc. is hard and so not many options available anywhere unless you go to NITs or IITs
good luck, do not rush the decision.
Hi Aspirant,
If you are worried about your placement then you should go for IT in Maharaja Aggarsen College Of IPU UNIV since the college offers good placements and also in renowned software companies like Wipro,TCS,Toubro etc.The college provides excellent infrastructure and also provides special games facilities.Faculty members are good and also helpful since most of them are senior and experienced.
Hope this helps!!
I believe IT at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, a constitutent of IP University Delhi, would be a better choice than LNMIIT Jaipur ECE. IP University has a very strong curriculum as well as good infrastructure, faculty and facilities in its associate colleges. Being located near IT Hubs at Noida and Gurgaon further provide impetus in training and placement prospects.
