Both the colleges are good but there are pros and cons for both of them. LNMIIT has a fee on the higher side whereas the state government college has less. The placements does not vary much. You can go for both of them depending on the branch you are getting and your interests. It won't make much of a difference if you neglect the fees. Choose wisely!

Congratulations on securing 97.4 percentile with a AIR of 23.5k so let me tell you that you will definitely get cse branch in this college because as per the previous year trends you can easily clear the cut offs.

However some of the conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

You can even try for some NITs or GFTIs and see if you can get a non core branch.

MIT conducts an exam called MIT WPU MEET exam. This exam has already been conducted for this year and won't be conducted for the second time. Now, they are shortlisting candidates on the basis of their JEE Main score. You can proceed with your application using your JEE Score. You don't need to give any exam. Just submit your application and wait for the college to contact you. If your application is selected the college will contact you. The application fee is 1500. The last date for application is 15 August.

Yes, in this rank you would easily get a non core branch in this college because as per the previous year trends your ranking in the state merit list will be good and you will get branches like computer science branch, electrical and communication, electrical and electronics branch.

Well congratulation for securing such rank in jee mains . As you said your percentile is 95.15 therefore your rank should be around 50k  that means your marks is somewhere less to take admission. As the previous year cut off of 2020 , cut off marks of LNMIIT is 100.  With you rank 95.15 , your marks can be calculated around 110 .

Therefore, ME and ECE are the two branches where you can easily get aadmission  into .

You can choose any of the above colleges and their respective branches as they all are one of the prestigious colleges of India.

But if you ask me, I would suggest you to go for NIT rourkela or MNNIT allahabad as they are one of the best and top NIT's in India according to the NIRF ranking. but for that you have to sacrifice your favourite branches because honestly, the placements opportunities in Biotechnology and ceramic is not very good. Similarly if you have to get for good branch like ECE you must take INMIIT as the placements for ECE is considered to be much higher as compared to Biotechnology and Ceramic. So, I think that you must go for Ceramic Engineering in NIT rourkela as the placements are also nice in this college for Biotechnology.
