In my opinion, both are good but you can prefer LMNIIT between two as LMNIIT has better coding environment which leads in CS and IT sector. Well SRM is better according to reputation and brand publicity. But LNMIT has a better academic atmosphere which is comparable to good NIT's. If you are serious regarding your studies than LNMIT is better. Placement wise SRM leads LNMIT due to it's brand name.

Because the stream you prefer is the one which decides your life. Comparing colleges is more useful when you are sticking with preferred branch.  If you are satisfied with any branch bringing you a nice job then I suggest you to go for CSE branch.
