As far as I know 30% marks are required to qualify the test.Now as per your rank if we look for the previouds year cutoff so on 5500 a student got not only branch of his own choice but also scholarship of appx. 80,000

But this depends on the number of students taking admission per year.If the number of students taking admission is less then you could easily get your desired.

The factors on which the cut off will depend on including the number of candidates, the number of vacant seats, marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test cut off of last year.
