Well both the universities are good. I have no clue about the placements at other universities. Being a faculty of LPU, I can only tell you about LPUs placements.

The Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (LPU NEST) exam dates are from May 15th to May 30th. Cost of application form and soft copy of LPUNEST kit - Boys (Rs. 800) Girls (Rs. 500) and Cost of application form and printed copy of LPUNEST kit - Boys (Rs. 1000) Girls (Rs. 700). HI there, the admission in LPU is going on. You can register yourself and book a slot for lpunest. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship.
The scholarship that you get at the time of admission continues till the completion of the course. However, in case of reappear, fail or compartment, the scholarship is not applicable till the backlog is cleared and as soon as the student gets promoted to the next session or semester, the scholarship become valid again. No you cannot admission in LPU through JEE main examination. According to the latest criteria by the university it is compulsory for students to sit for the lpunest examination conducted by LPU. Hello Pretty, the fee that you pay at the time of admission continues till the completion of the program. Even if there is a fee hike, it will not be applicable to the old students. The new students will have to pay the revised fee. Hope this helps. Good Luck
Yes you can apply for lateral entry after diploma. LPU offers lateral entry in B.tech courses.
