First of all, I would like to congratulate you on securing such an awesome percentile. XAT is one of the toughest exams in India and no doubt you have aced it perfectly. XAT is such an exam which is accepted by majority of the Indian B-Schools and some very good ones too. I will list down some of the B-Schools that you can expect a call from and their average package:

To get a call, you must have to fill up their form, either at the time of exam form fill up or separately. After this you will be called for:

• Group Discussion
• Case Discussions
• Personal Interview

Though GD and PI  will be compulsory, few of the colleges conduct Case Discussions and Written Ability Test.

Getting a call from these B-Schools would not ensure your admission into them as several factors are taken into consideration before taking a student into a B-School, such as:

• Academic and ExtraCurricular achievements
• Relevant work experience
• Performance in GD/WAT/PI process

LIBA does have some reservations but for general category students the minimum percentile required is 86 in XAT. Only for the reserved category they require 70 percentile. But you can still get some good colleges like

These are pretty decent colleges and offer good academics and placements. They also have good reputation among recruiters and you can easily get an average compensation package of 6-7 lakhs in a reputed organization.

Candidates are short-listed for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the programme of LIBA. The GD-PI process will be conducted at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai After the GD-PI round, admission offers are made by LIBA to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in PI round, academics, Quality of Work Experience among others.

Last date to apply for admission in LIBA is to close on January 10, 2020. To explore admission opportunity in LIBA, Chennai, the candidates need to apply for admission by using and filling up the online application form. LIBA will accept CAT 2019 and XAT 2020 scores, so you can apply with the CAT scores and also XAT scores. Better of the two scores will be considered. The Application fee for admission to PGDM 2020 at LIBA is Rs.1500/- as was last year.
