Besides 6 compulsory courses, students have to choose 6 electives from a wide array of specializations, viz. Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Management and General Management.

I have obtained 84.23%ile in CAT 2017. Can I be shorted in any of the colleges like TAPMI, BIM Trichy, LIBA, FORE School of Management?

Guarav Singh 9th Jan, 2018

You may try for PGDM - IB at FORE, for sure. Last year cut off has been 85 for PGDM and 78 for PGDM IB at FORE. LIBA isnt worth trying for (Cut off was 80) as the no. of seats for general is limited due to reservations. BIM Trichy cut off was 80 but better option is IFMR instead of BIM Trichy or LIBA.

i am doing my b.sc physics in Loyola college chennai.i want to study pg in abroad.please explain what are the chances and job opportunity.

Anonymous 14th Sep, 2017

Start with shortlisting the collegs you are interested to take admission in abroad. Also shortlist the location you want to take admission in. Then there is english proficiency exam you will be required to give and other required exam. Each college has itw own criteria.

Once you meet their score cutoff then you can get the student visa and further admission details. Later if you had a good academic prospect in the studies while the internship they can  hire you and therfore you have good chances to get settled there.

Hope this helps.
