I completed bA eng lit at madurai from 2007-2009.now can i study b.ED in correspondense? How much does this course cost? What is the duration of the course?

Ishita 17th Jul, 2024

Hello Aspirant

Yes, you can study BEd in correspondence from a good college. There is no upper age limit for BEd courses in India, you can pursue it even at the age of 40. A correspondence in BEd can cost you anywhere around 30,000/- to 2 lacs. It all depends on the college that you are opting for. If you are going to a good and reputable college, the fee will be high, but then the value of your certificate will also be high.

The most common institute that people opt for when it comes to correspondence course is IGNOU and the fee there for BEd correspondence is 55,000/-. The registration fee is 1000, which is mandatory for all candidates to pay.

Choose your college wisely because that affects your market value a lot, especially if you are going for a correspondence course

Hello aspirant,

- I see you want to get an admission in LIT Nagpur, if you're trying to reach out college administration.

- Am assuming you contacted them since last week, if they aren't recieving your calls it is possible you contacted them during holidays, as we got a lot of holidays during the past weeks.

- And if you did contacted them on the working days, try contacting them via emails.

- If you want to get an admission try reaching out the location if you're going for college based cap round.

I hope it helps

Have a nice day

Can a BA English (hons) graduate apply for MA in English (Lit.)?

Akash Singh 20th Jun, 2021

Dear student,

To be eligible for MA in English Literature , below are the criteria mentioned.

  • A student must have a degree of a BA in English or equivalent degree from a recognized institute.
  • The candidates aggregate percentage should be minimum of 50% or above at the qualifying level exams. ( Here you should know that some universities ask for 60% minimum aggregate percentage too)

  • In case you want to take admission in Delhi university for this degree, then this university offers direct admission to students who have pursued their BA from any college which is associated with Delhi University.

So, by looking at the eligibility criteria, it is very clear that you can apply for MA in English Literature if you have degree of BA Hons. English, provided you fulfil other eligibility criteria.

I hope this answer clears your doubt.

Feel free to connect me in comment section for further discussion related to this.

All the very best!

Subhrajit Mukherjee 8th Feb, 2021

Yeah! If your optional subject is Hindi then you can obviously take English for other papers if the college allows you and I don't think there are any problems to allow you for english.

You should contact the college authorities to be sure.

Goodnight!

suprava.65 2nd Feb, 2021

Dear Aspirant

For Undergraduate Programmes

Candidates who want to pursue undergraduate programmes from any of 91 affiliated colleges need to register online in UG admission portal and fill the DU application form. In the undergraduate programmes conducted in the university, seats are filled by ‘Best of Four’ merit selection, except for few programmes such as BA Hons. Humanities and Sciences, B.Tech, etc. The ‘Best of Four’ calculation is done on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in their senior secondary examination.

Which subject is easy English Lit. or History for future study and job point of view ? Im directly doing 12th without studying 11th, and also which one is easier to study as only 5 months are remaining for exams?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021
Hello,

Both English literature and History are lengthy and deep subjects and have many contents so in terms of content both are similar. Now, you will have to choose on the basis of the interest of the subject.
I would recommend you to go for History because this will help you in future if you will appear for any government entrance exams because questions from history comes often.

I hope this helps.
