Loyola Institute of Technology, Chennai
Hello Aspirant
Yes, you can study BEd in correspondence from a good college. There is no upper age limit for BEd courses in India, you can pursue it even at the age of 40. A correspondence in BEd can cost you anywhere around 30,000/- to 2 lacs. It all depends on the college that you are opting for. If you are going to a good and reputable college, the fee will be high, but then the value of your certificate will also be high.
The most common institute that people opt for when it comes to correspondence course is IGNOU and the fee there for BEd correspondence is 55,000/-. The registration fee is 1000, which is mandatory for all candidates to pay.
Choose your college wisely because that affects your market value a lot, especially if you are going for a correspondence course

The candidates aggregate percentage should be minimum of 50% or above at the qualifying level exams. ( Here you should know that some universities ask for 60% minimum aggregate percentage too)
In case you want to take admission in Delhi university for this degree, then this university offers direct admission to students who have pursued their BA from any college which is associated with Delhi University.
So, by looking at the eligibility criteria, it is very clear that you can apply for MA in English Literature if you have degree of BA Hons. English, provided you fulfil other eligibility criteria.
I hope this answer clears your doubt.
Feel free to connect me in comment section for further discussion related to this.
All the very best!
Yeah! If your optional subject is Hindi then you can obviously take English for other papers if the college allows you and I don't think there are any problems to allow you for english.
You should contact the college authorities to be sure.
Goodnight!
