Hey as the merit list of panjab University has been released. (tentative) there are 77 seats in MA sociology (gen 68+9 NRI) my rank in tentative list is 97 are there any chances of me getting the admission? i scored (1714/2400) and my PU wtg. (85.7%) aggregate (71.5%)

Hello,

Your marks and rank is good but as you know the seats are limited. You have chance of admission oy when some among top 70 rankers will not take admission or if the NRI quota seats go vacant.
You can only hope because the seats are limited.

First of all there are several factors that are considered while preparing final cutoff :

Number of candidates appearing forDUET 2020

Difficulty level of the paper

Seat availability

Reservation/ category

Considering previous year cutoff, you have decent chance of getting admission in MA in psychology.
