Hello aspirant,
The thing is that no college is there that will give admission to you on the basis of 12th boards percentage/marks. Yes, there might be few colleges that takes admission through 12th boards marks but majority colleges doesn't do so. Like if you want to persue engineering after 12th, then either you have to appear for JEE Main which is a all India level engineering entrance examination or you have to appear for the respective colleges own entrance examination if you want a seat in that college or you have to give the state level engineering entrance exams. After clearing the required entrance examination will valid scores, then you could get a seat for engineering. For other streams also the process is quite similar, like for BBA you have to give the entrance exams for the particular college in which you want admission . Similarly, for BA you have to give the national level or state level entrances for the colleges that provided BA degrees. So to get admission into any college with any course, one's 12th marks is neccessary but also he/she has to give the respective entrances to get a seat in his/her choice of college.
Good Luck !!!!
