Maybe, some universitites take admission on these numbers but as per the eligibility criteria of MA MSc ourse, Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in social sciences including the subject of Mathematics/Statistics from a recognized university with at least 55% of aggregate marks or equivalent grade.

Since the cut off has not been released for this year yet, according to the previous year's cut off for M.A Economics which was 596 for general category. To be safe you should expect atleast a rank of about 550 and below. But since cut offs tend to vary, below 500 would be better.

JOSAA and CSAB are two different counselling procedures. And they have different fees. The fee of JOSAA is not adjusted in CSAB round. The amount of fee you paid for JOSAA counselling can only be refunded back after a deduction fee of Rs.1500 , only if you choose to withdraw your seat till sixth round of counselling.

And if you are going to participate in CSAB special round , then you are not required to pay the admission fee.
