Coming to your question the syllabus for the MA sociology entrance exam is ,

Part 1 - will test the general awareness about the world around us .

Part 2- will test the information that the student has about social and humanities in general and sociology.

Part 3- will test student on his ability to structure an essay logically , his ability to wrote grammatically correct English , his ability to comprehend the society around him.

Post graduate college for girls, Sector 11 will be a better choice since it is a government college and Regional Institute of English is a private one. The degrees of government colleges usually gets more preference. All the best!

In order to be eligible for applying for Master courses in English after your Bachelor's, you must have a minimum score of 60%, which you do. This means that you are eligible for applying into any college for your further studies.

Sorry to say that you can not get admission in the Himachal Pradesh University. Because you can not appear for the entrance examination of Himachal Pradesh University.

Every candidates should be passed the entrance examination. 

After that they can get admission in the particular University.
